Annual Symposium

26th Annual Neuroscience Symposium

The Eastern Carolina Chapter of the Society for Neuroscience (ECCSfN) humbly invites you to attend the 26th Annual Neuroscience Symposium! It is open to anyone with an interest in neuroscience (research, clinical, and applied). The full program booklet will be available to download in late October. The event will be held in-person and offers a wonderful line-up of talks from experts from North Carolina Central University, UNC-Chapel Hill, the University of Georgia, and East Carolina University. It will also have poster sessions offered by students, postdoctoral scholars, and medical residents. The Symposium will again be held on Halloween. Costumes are encouraged!

Registration and Abstract Submission (portal will be on Friday, September 6th)

  • The abstract deadline for posters and talks is Wednesday, October 20th at 11:59PM EDT. If you are submitting an abstract, then additional registration is not needed.
  • Registration for attendance at the symposium will be accepted up to 5:00PM EDT on October 30th. After this date, attendees can register in-person at the Check-In/Registration Desk on October 31st.
  • There is no registration fee. Donations are graciously accepted at the Registration Desk on 10/31. If donations are made by check, please make it payable to: Eastern Carolina Chapter of the Society for Neuroscience.
